Rental Fees

We charge $155 per weekday night and $160 per weekend night (Fridays and Saturdays) per cabin for double-occupancy, and have a two-night minimum stay requirement. If the futon sofa is used as a sleep area for children age 14 or younger, we charge an additional one-time fee of $25 for the second bed linens; or our guests can bring their own linens for the second bed and avoid the additional charge. For those guests visiting with more than two adults, we charge an additional $25 per night for each person in a cabin age 15 or older.

Our guests often tell us, and our independent research in the Monterey Peninsula area confirms, that we offer the best vacation rental deal in the area. When evaluating our rates be sure to understand that all cleaning fees are included in our nightly rates, as well as the 10.5% Monterey County occupancytax. The occupancy tax alone, when added to most other vacation rentals in the area, increases the per-night cost of our competitors more than $15 per night.

During the nine major holiday periods listed below, the per night rental is $160 per night, our minimum stay is increased from two nights to three nights, and due to the heavy demand we have for the holiday periods, the entire three-night rental is required as an advance deposit ($480 for the three-night stay).

Deposit Requirements

A rental deposit is charged in advance of each reservation, as outlined below*. We operate our cabin rentals in a very informal manner, and offer personal checks, cash, and electronic wires to our Citibank account as the three methods of making both deposit and final rental payments. If your reservation is cancelled more than three weeks in advance of arrival the deposit is cheerfully refunded. If the cancellation occurs in less than three weeks the deposit is refunded only if the cabin is able to be re-rented to another party.
